Revision

I have a slight revision to my earlier post, Nobu: Stubborner Than A Swordfish.

The menu actually states ” Bluefin Tuna is a enviromentally threatened species- please ask your server for alternatives.”

I am sorry for the mis-quotation, although this revision does show that the situation is more severe than it appears to be. Many species are enviromentally challenged, just like the fish that start to go hungry when their main food source goes extinct. Enviromentally threatened can mean they are A) endangered or B ) close to extinction.

If you feel I have lied to you, I am terribly sorry. I recieved this information from a site that stated references, one being the Nobu homepage.

Because I have reconsidered my options, I would rather anyone who participated in this petition send an email to newyork@noburestaurants.com. I decided that it would take drastic measures in order to bring this petition to the eyes of the Nobu managers.

Thanks.

If you have emailed me for this petition and I replied to you with indication you were on the     ” list “, you will recieve a email shortly. Although this is not the end of my work to keep the oceans clean and healthy, this is the end of my campaign for Nobu restaurants. I will email them, and I hope you will too. Thank you.

The Nobu Petition

Yesterday, I published a blog post about the Nobu vs. Greenpeace situation with the Bluefin Tuna. There has been a massive response to my petition to cut out all tuna consumption until Nobu stops selling the Bluefin Tuna.

I have already had three people sign on. I am asking for more. This is a true cause, and I believe that no matter what, those fish are just as important as us humans.

The motto for The Nobu Petition:

WE DON’T DO ENVIROMENTALLY CHALLENGED

This was a handmade logo I made early today with simple Windows paint program. Email me at lillian.tuttle@gmail.com if you would like to join the petition. Your name will never be used and you will never be mentioned UNLESS YOU WANT TO. Email me if you want your name to appear on a petition form. Thanks

Nobu: Stubborner Than A Swordfish

Anyone like sushi?

I do. But I like locally sourced, humanely caught, all natural, wild, non-endangered fish and animals on mine. That’s why I would never eat at Nobu, a popular Japanese-Sushi restaraunt. They have about 24 locations in the top cities of the world.

Nobu is now very unpopular among many actors, activists, and even politicians. It is widely apparent that they are doing something wrong. You would have to be dead, deaf, dumb, blind, and buried eight hundred miles underground Magrathea in order not to see that there is something wrong with this restraurant.

They do not have any health violations, no rats tails in the soup ( although by their track record so far, that may be a possibility. )

They are selling excessive amounts of Bluefin tuna. And no matter what Greenpeace has done, all they have done was make a microscopic footnote on the London menues saying Bluefin tuna is “enviromentally challenged “.

Why, I wonder, can they not use a more flavorful and absolutely sustainable halibut for their tuna, or maybe a other type of tuna.

So, I have here decided that the only way to solve this is to eat NO tuna, at all, until Nobu decided to do this. If you are interested in doing this with me, email me at lillian.tuttle@gmail.com or comment on this post.

This is also posted on my Greenpeace blog, whalesdeservelife, all one word, no caps. Because this work was written by me, I can also post it on Lilly/Rocker.

Checkoutfree.com: Scammer Central

Last Saturvery, my very best friend showed me a game called Fashion Solitaire. I admit, it was very cool. But in order to play the whole game, you had to pay 19.95. Then, of course, there was the special offer: buy one offer worth 19.95 and get the game free! Of course, all of these offers contained at least thirty viruses.

So, I decided there was one way to deal with this.

Don’t use Shockwave.com, at all.

Pirates: The 3-D Nonsense?

Reviews, reviews,, that it the first thing I reach to when I need to see if I think I should do something. Was Valkyrie a good movie? Is The Da Vinci Code worth reading?

For somethings, reviews are far to diverse to pick and choose. But for Pirates, the 3 dimensional game that can easily consume a eight by six living room rug, the reviews were great. They said that it was fun, and easy to maneuver. They said that it was all worth the time, and that whenever you needed help, click here. But the truth.

Pirates can be fun. It is a entertaining game, but it takes almost three hours. It is a ongoing thing- you have to play the games three or four times to finish a game. And the fleets. There is Spanish, French, English, American, and Barbarian.

So my conclusion is, this is not the 3-D nonsense, but simply a game that you must be extremely interested in, almost obsessed, and you must correctly know the history of the world ( more the sea ) in order to win the game. Now, Pirate cards are no longer made, so you must purchase them on the Internet or at you local card shop. If you live in the vicinity of the Salem, Oregon area, or live in Salem, I would highly suggest Borderlands, located by the movie theater.

I recently just found a website called Freebooks5000.com. I found it very interesting because you can read 2065 different books, for free. All you do is download them onto your computer and read them out of notepad. I have already downloaded ” The Importance of Being Earnest ” and ” Little Women ” . I found this site to be extremely helpful and very cool. Click on the link above to access this website. For more info about this site, email me at > Lilly.rocker.blog@Gmail.com <

yWriter5: NOT The Best

After several failed tries to find the best writing software to write my book, I thought I had found the ruby in the gravel: yWriter5.

But I was wrong. yWriter5 is a confusing setup of scenes and chapters. But what turned me away was that it was a terrible case of false advertising. It is not possible to move around scenes, and you can not straight out write a chapter. You must do it in a set of scenes, in which you must insert and move around.

My conclusion is, don’t use yWriter5. If you are looking for a good program, use Celtx, ( click here ) which is a multi-usage program, as you can write scripts, screenplays, AV scripts, audio plays, and books. You can also get tools, take notes, and add calendars, production schedules, and many other things.

If you want to see the homepage for yWriter5, click here, and download if you dare.

The Anne Frank Tree

After looking at some of my old posts, I saw i did one on Anne Frank. I felt bad when I looked at it because I gave so little information on this amazing, brave, intelligent, talented young girl. So I have decided to give links to both the Anne Frank Tree, a place where you can leave a ” leaf ” on the historical chestnut tree of Anne Frank, and the Wikipedia article on Anne Frank.

Click here to visit the Anne Frank Tree.

Google News

After reading Google News faithfully for the past year, I am truly disappointed.

I always liked how Google News has always given me the best updates, and I always liked how I could take it with me when i went somewhere because all I had to do was check my email and it told me through Google Alerts if there was something that I liked that came up. But lately, I have noticed that when I take a link from my email, there is always a error, in which I can’t access the website. I noticed that this happens more than not with the private blogs.

If you have this same problem, email me at > lilly.rocker.blog@gmail.com <

Which One?

For many years, I have always wondered, what exactly, entails a person being Democrat or Republican. I know a lot of people who are straight up hippie but have the most Republican views ever. I also know some of the most straight laced, conservative people ever, but when you ask them what major party they are, they say, ” Oh, I voted for Obama in the 2008 election. He’s a great guy!” So what, exactly, is a Republican? Democrat? Is there a difference other than the views in which they hold to? Or maybe just the people they think better represent what is the ” greater?” to them?
